MoBak is a service-oriented organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable populations across Jamaica through sustainable, community-centered initiatives. We work to reduce and prevent children from living and working on the streets by addressing the root causes of poverty, educational disruption, and social exclusion.
MoBak operates in seven high-need communities across Jamaica, including Yallahs, Majesty Gardens, Old Harbour, Rocky Point, Parry Town/Ocho Rios, Port Maria, and Retirement.
- Community Assessments & Outreach – Identifying children and families in need.
- Child & Youth Support – Providing education, vocational training, and psychosocial care.
- Parental & Family Support Services – Offering skills training and capacity-building programs for parents and guardians.
- Public Awareness & Sensitization – Conducting campaigns and events to raise awareness on child rights and safe practices.
- Referral & Connection Services – Linking families with essential health, legal, educational, and social services.
MoBak delivers transformative programs that provide immediate assistance and long-term support to children. We ensure access to education, vocational training, psychosocial care, and other essential resources to help children thrive in safe and supportive environments.
Families can receive skills training, parenting support, financial literacy guidance, and direct referrals to services that improve their well-being and resilience. Our programs aim to strengthen families so they can provide a stable and nurturing environment for their children.
MoBak runs targeted public awareness campaigns, community engagement events, and sensitization programs to educate the public about child rights, stigma reduction, and safety measures for vulnerable children.
